Craig Smith
FounderMy whole life has been dedicated to the world of travel. Not just any travel, but working with travel organisers worldwide who have clients of the highest level, in terms of expectation and experience.
And in that time, I have learnt who are the very best of the best of these travel professionals; the fraction who are the pinnacle of their industry.
They come from countries all over the world. These are the people who know the destination that they sell intimately – they have either lived there, or have devoted their lives to knowing it, its people, where to go and when to go – and more importantly who to meet, what to see and where to go that other people don’t.
They know the best guides, the best restaurants, where to shop and how to avoid the crowds. They are more than travel professionals – they are travelgurus.
They are also elusive. Most of them are owners and directors of travel. Many of them only consult for a few select clients.
I am fortunate to know them personally and to have experienced the exceptional manner in which they work.
And so – for the first time – there is a site that brings these travelgurus from across the world into one encyclopedia of travel knowledge.
Each one has been selected for the country that he or she knows best. They will give you incredibly detailed advice, personal attention and one- on-one travel consultation on the country you are planning to visit. And then they will organise it and book it for you.
The Travelguru website connects you with the travelplanner of your choice. There is a $250 fee to connect you. This fee is fully refundable against your booking on confirmation and will reflect as a credit on your final invoice.
Our Travelgurus don’t work on mass volumes. Indeed, many of them only consult to a small handful of select clients. By charging a fee, we help to ensure that any requests are genuine and are respectful of their time. And by committing to a consultation fee, you allow them to spend time with you understanding your requirements perfectly.
The Eastern-most province of Canada and, arguably, one of its most wild and dramatic, Newfoundland and Labrador is known for its warm and welcoming residents, rugged coastline and rich seafaring history.
